Bridal Photo Shoot with Raymond Jones Images - Part 1

I recently did the most stunning Bridal Photo Shoot with Raymond Jones Images in Cheshire with beautiful model Katy.  We had the most beautiful dress to use which was Katy's Mums dress from 18 years ago so very special.  Take a look at the beautiful images from the shoot and I will list the products used to create the English Rose inspired make-up and how I created the hairstyle.  It was a truly magical day and goes to show that team work does really make the dream work

Model Katy's hair all in pin curls while I do her make-up for the shoot!

A close up of Katy's hair and make-up - I created these beautiful waves by first spraying Catwalk by Tigi haute iron spray all over the hair to protect it from the heat and then ran a little Arbonne colour last hair serum on the ends.  I then curled all the hair with my Babyliss Perfect curl and pin curled for lasting power and more bounce.  After finishing the make-up I took Katy's hair out of the pin curls and lightly brushed it out for a bouncy wave and sprayed Oribe dry texturzing spray on the roots to ends and sprayed the hair with  Schwarzkopf Silhouette hair spray.

How beautiful do these sparkly nails look with the rain dance ring available from Boodles.    Sara created this nail look using CND Shellac in Satin Pyjamas with Magpie glitter on top.

I just loved how this beautiful bouquet kindly supplied by Wedding Flowers by Laura, compliments the stunning gold wedding dress
English rose inspired make-up look
For the skin I started with prepping the skin with Arbonne FC5 matt fresh complex moisturiser, although I wanted a dewy finish to the skin Katy has combination skin so I wanted to keep the shine on the t-zone at bay.  I think Applied another Arbonne product their make-up primer all over the skin this help to minimise the appearance of open pores and take away unwanted shine - this primer does this and yet then skin still looks hydrated!  For the base I used three make-up products by Laura Mercier silk creme foundation, secret camouflage concealer and universal powder.  Now to the eyes which I prepped with Urban Decay eye shadow primer and used the beautiful Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eye Shadow Palette with Charlotte Tilbury eyes to mesmerise creme shadow in Marie Antoinette.   I went for all the neutral shades from the palette using skimp, steady, punk, anahein, stark, zone, series and blackout.  The liquid liner was Arbonne,  then a couple of coats of Arbonne mascara finishing off with some lovely false lashes. To create a lovely hight light underneath the eyes I used By Terry Touche Veloutee and set with Laura Mercier secret brightening powder.  Eyebrows were defined with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in blonde this to me is one to the best brow products.  I used another Urban Decay Palette the Gwen Stefani Blush palette using angel for highlight, lo-fi to contour and a mixture of Cherry and Easy for blush.  For the lips I used another two products from the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani collection the lipliner and lipstick both in the colour ex girlfriend.

We all had the best day doing this shoot at a stunning location in Cheshire and look forward to doing another one in the summer.
