Styled Shoot with Raymond Jones Images - Part 2

So here is part two of the photo shoot with the super talented photographer Mr Raymond Jones!  For the second look of the shoot I did a completely different look, a disco inspired make-up with boho hair which complimented each other perfectly!

Finished touches to our beautiful model Katy's hair

For the make-up I kept the base the same as it stayed so well with the Arbonne Make-up Primer and Laura Mercier silk creme foundation.  For the eyes I used blackout from the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani eye shadow palette to intensify the crease of the eyes and underneath then blended out with shades anaheim and zone.  I applied Too Faced glitter glue to the lid of the eyes and applied the star of the show MAC purple glitter pigment on top!  For the cheeks I added a little more contour with Lo-Fi from the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani blush palette and used cherry blush on the cheeks with Kevyn Aucoin highlighter in Candlelight to the cheekbones!  As the eyes were so dramatic I went for a very nude lip with MAC lip liner in boldly bare and Arbonne lipstick in Magnolia!

For the bridal shoot the hair had big bouncy waves so I lightly brushed those out to create a beautiful wave and then added two plaits to each side so the eyes stood out!

I absolutely loved doing this shoot working with the most fabulous team who I am very much looking forward to working again with soon

Bridal Photo Shoot with Raymond Jones Images - Part 1

I recently did the most stunning Bridal Photo Shoot with Raymond Jones Images in Cheshire with beautiful model Katy.  We had the most beautiful dress to use which was Katy's Mums dress from 18 years ago so very special.  Take a look at the beautiful images from the shoot and I will list the products used to create the English Rose inspired make-up and how I created the hairstyle.  It was a truly magical day and goes to show that team work does really make the dream work

Model Katy's hair all in pin curls while I do her make-up for the shoot!

A close up of Katy's hair and make-up - I created these beautiful waves by first spraying Catwalk by Tigi haute iron spray all over the hair to protect it from the heat and then ran a little Arbonne colour last hair serum on the ends.  I then curled all the hair with my Babyliss Perfect curl and pin curled for lasting power and more bounce.  After finishing the make-up I took Katy's hair out of the pin curls and lightly brushed it out for a bouncy wave and sprayed Oribe dry texturzing spray on the roots to ends and sprayed the hair with  Schwarzkopf Silhouette hair spray.

How beautiful do these sparkly nails look with the rain dance ring available from Boodles.    Sara created this nail look using CND Shellac in Satin Pyjamas with Magpie glitter on top.

I just loved how this beautiful bouquet kindly supplied by Wedding Flowers by Laura, compliments the stunning gold wedding dress
English rose inspired make-up look
For the skin I started with prepping the skin with Arbonne FC5 matt fresh complex moisturiser, although I wanted a dewy finish to the skin Katy has combination skin so I wanted to keep the shine on the t-zone at bay.  I think Applied another Arbonne product their make-up primer all over the skin this help to minimise the appearance of open pores and take away unwanted shine - this primer does this and yet then skin still looks hydrated!  For the base I used three make-up products by Laura Mercier silk creme foundation, secret camouflage concealer and universal powder.  Now to the eyes which I prepped with Urban Decay eye shadow primer and used the beautiful Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eye Shadow Palette with Charlotte Tilbury eyes to mesmerise creme shadow in Marie Antoinette.   I went for all the neutral shades from the palette using skimp, steady, punk, anahein, stark, zone, series and blackout.  The liquid liner was Arbonne,  then a couple of coats of Arbonne mascara finishing off with some lovely false lashes. To create a lovely hight light underneath the eyes I used By Terry Touche Veloutee and set with Laura Mercier secret brightening powder.  Eyebrows were defined with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in blonde this to me is one to the best brow products.  I used another Urban Decay Palette the Gwen Stefani Blush palette using angel for highlight, lo-fi to contour and a mixture of Cherry and Easy for blush.  For the lips I used another two products from the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani collection the lipliner and lipstick both in the colour ex girlfriend.

We all had the best day doing this shoot at a stunning location in Cheshire and look forward to doing another one in the summer.

FASHION PHOTO SHOOT AT DELAMERE MANOR

Here are the final edits from the beautiful fashion photoshoot at events venue Delamere Manor in Cheshire.  Talented photographer Daniella McGreavy took the images of our gorgeous models Beth Dunning and Singer / Songwriter Molly Tilston and the stunning dresses were by BALTHAZAR / Gary Hayes

A close up of Beth showing her Hair & Make-up.
For Beth's hair I used the Babyliss Pro Perfect curl to create the lovely bouncy curls with Oribe Dry Texturizing spray for volume.
I used some Laura Mercier products on the skin including silk creme foundation, universal powder and secret camouflage concealer to create a flawless finish.  For contouring I used Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit and highlight on the cheekbones was one of my current favourite products Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone.  I wanted the eyes to be smokey but not too dramatic, for this I used the Semi-sweet chocolate bar palette by Too Faced. I used a gel liner for definition along the lashline which was Nars eye paint in black valley and finished the eye look with Red Cherry False lashes in 41 sundance.  For the lips I used two lip glosses Laura Mercier nectar and By Terry honeymoon kiss to create this lovely peachy colour.  Cheeks were an old classic colour Nars orgasm blusher

Here is the full length of Beth in one of BALTHAZAR by Gary Hayes Designs

The lovely Signer / Songwriter Molly Tilston
For Molly's hair it was a glamorous yet slightly messy look which was created with heated rollers, backcombing, lots of hairspray and again a favourite of mine Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray.
I used the same products as with Beth for Mollys skin as I am always confident with Laura Mercier base products that they photograph beautifully.  For the eyes I used all Matt shades from the Tarte tartlette palette with gel liner flicked out, which again was Nars eye pain in black valley.  I love this Nars gel liner as its such a true black.  False lashes are Red Cherry, but I didn't keep to container so not sure of the style.  Contouring was with the Anastasia Beverlry Hills Contour kit as its just so universal for every skin tone with highlight by Laura Mercier.  For lips I used Lipstick Queen Silver Screen nude lipstick You kid and Nars blusher in deep throat.

I changed Beth's make-up slightly to compliment this dress with Becca Ultimate Colour  Gloss in Palm Breeze and Lorac Satin blush in Velvet Rope.

EDITORIAL PHOTO SHOOT AT WILLINGTON HALL

Here are the final images photographed by the very talented photographer Daniella McGreavy at Willington Hall.

Our stunning model Beth's first shoot was a glamorous vintage inspired look!  I wanted the hair to be very glamorous for this so I went for a beautiful wavy style.  The key make-up products I used to create this look were Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eye Palette in The Vintage Vamp and Kevyn Aucoin Lip Colour in Bloodroses!  For the skin I used a number of Laura Mercier products including Silk creme oil free foundation, universal powder, secret camouflage and secret concealer.   Beth wore a vintage style gold evening dress supplied by one of our stylists Jilly.
Andrew's first look for the shoot was very classic and sophisticated!

Another look for Beth a 50s inspired look, but keeping it very current too.  I created a very sleek side bun on Beth and changed her lip colour to a a beautiful nude shade using By Terry rouge terribly lipstick in 100 and a little of Kevyn Aucoin The Lip Gloss in Dahliana.  The lovely false lashes are Ardell demi wispies.
Andrew has the most amazing bone structure and stunning eyes so we decided to do a edgy rock inspired look on him.  I used Laura Mercier silk creme oil free foundation with universal powder and Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit in the skin,  For the eyes used shades from the Urban Decay Vice 3 palette!

Beth's third look was boho themed so I added some more peachy shades to the make-up that included a matt eyeshadow by Inglot and MAC blusher in Dainty!
Thank you so much to Willington Hall for letting us use such a beautiful venue for the photo shoot!  It was a fantastic day with a talented team!

EDITORIAL PHOTO SHOOT AT WILLINGTON HALL - BEHIND THE SCENES

This week I was part of a fabulous team doing an Editorial Photo Shoot at the Stunning Willington Hall in Tarporley.  Willington Hall was the perfect location for the shoot as it is the most stunning property right in the Cheshire Countryside.  It is also a lovely choice for a wedding, I actually did the hair and make-up for a wedding there a year back and the wedding looked truly magical!

I am getting the beautiful model Beth ready for her first look here,

While my friend and Hair & Make-up Assistant Amy Jones and I got the lovely Beth ready for the shoot, the rest of the team made a start on Model Andrew Kenwright's pictures.  Here is Stylist Jilly Shires, Photographer Daniella McGreavy, Model Andrew Kenwright and Stylist Fenella Shires all set to start the shoot!  We were so lucky with the weather as it was such a gorgeous day.
Jilly and Amy getting our lovely Beth into her first outfit a beautiful gold vintage evening dress
For Andrew's second look I did a rock inspired make-up. He has the most amazing cheekbones and eyes so he carried the look off perfectly!
Photographer Daniella McGreavy taking a close up of Beth.  Daniella is such a talented photographer and you can so see that it is not just a job for her which I think is so important in a job like photography.  I asked her to write a little bit about herself -

'I have always had a passion for photography. It started out as a hobby, photographing landscapes and animals. This quickly turned from a hobby into an obsession! It was at this point that I realised I wanted to start a business capturing the special moments. Since then I have completed a btec national diploma in photography and shot numerous weddings, Christining and other special events. No matter what the subject is, if it is special to you, I want to help make it a memory to treasure forever xxx'
